Our Hunt School 365 is the first year round hunting school. It is an easy going but intensive training school. Instruction includes everything you need to know to successfully hunt several of California’s big game, upland game, and predators on your own rather it be on public land or your own private land. You will learn from Cody Hughes with 20 years of big game, upland game, and predator hunting experience. You will learn proper shooting and hunting techniques including preparing for a hunt, research, scouting techniques, stalking, blind set-up and location choosing, taking the ethical shot, tracking, field dressing, how to cape your game for a taxidermist to do their best work, and how to process your game.
Hunt School 365 differs from our two day hunt school. Students will go on one on one guided hunts for the different species, instead of only doing one hunt as is done in the two day school.. Students will learn hands on in the field, hunting public, or your private land for all game species. With our 365 Hunting School you will have access to our lifetime of knowledge and become a member of our Cody Hughes Outdoors Inner Circle.

Students will begin by joining Cody Hughes Outdoors on a one on one, one day classroom teaching day were we will review the following information.
1st Day:
- 8:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.
-Gun safety: Learn proper gun safety and firearm operation.
-Tracking: You will be taught to decipher different wild tracks and signs of game in the area.
-Stalking: Learn to stalk game efficiently and accurately using wind direction, vantage points, and terrain.
-Shot placement: Learn the vitals of different species of game for clean, efficient, and ethical kills.
-Field dressing: Learn to field dress your game for transport back to skinning facilities. You will also learn different products available to hunters to help with the recovery and, field dressing and skinning of your game.
-Processing: Learn to skin your game followed by learning how to quarter and debone game for transport to a butcher.
-Hunting Video: Watch videos of successful hunts.
-Calendar setting for your next season.
- 12:00 P.M.- 1:00P.M. (Lunch Break)
-1:00P.M.- 5:00 P.M.
-Sighting in: Learn how to properly sight in your firearm and bow.
-Shooting: Learn to shoot accurately from 50 to 400 yards.
-Shooting positions: Learn to shoot from different positions and when to use each position. (from a rest, shooting sticks, kneeling, sitting, prone and off hand).
-Moving Targets: Learn how to properly take moving game.

After completion of your 1st day, the calendar will be set for your next season. Cody Hughes Outdoors will provide 1 on 1 guiding on the lands you wish to hunt, for a total of 10 guided trips and 10 scouting trips for the following game species:
Deer, Bear, Hog, Tree Squirrel, Rabbit, Pheasant, Quail, Wild Turkey, Dove, Band-Tailed Pigeon, and Ground Squirrel Shooting.
- You will apply all of what you've learned from the 1st day on your guided hunts. We will walk you through each of the steps you've learned from start to finish. How would you like to fill your freezer with the following all in one year?

Hunt School 365 Price: $3500.00 and $100 per month.
-Students Only - Guests allowed on approval.

-No Hunting License required for day 1.
